I finally sorted out my stash from my trip in November. It's not as extensive as last year, simply because I have all the Mariko merchandise there is, except CDs, and really, I don't have any particular craving for them.

But here it is: Snipped for the uninterested. )

I just added again to my Mariko stash, with one more video and another book. The videos I don't have, people have ripped from VCR to DVD for me.

Like every Takarazuka fan, there are shows that you would love to see, but which are tricky to get a hold of. Some of these may be VHS only, others may never have been released or only shown on SkyStage. I've decided to put my list here, in case any kind soul has/can point me in the direction of any of the shows I'm looking for.

For clarification of just how much I love my Hoshigumi as well, my full collection is listed here

It's taken me a while to get it done, but I finally managed to get my Takarazuka show collection onto a website :) That's all the shows I have and I'm always open to getting more :)

Also, since it's worth mentioning, I've got a wishlist, since the majority of shows I like are only on VHS or were on SkyStage. If anyone has any of these shows, I would consider trading :) Anything for more Mariko.

It seems that everyone who falls into Takarazuka eventually has one performer especially they claim as their own. No matter how many others you watch, or whichever troupe you follow, there's someone you will look at and thing 'she is mine'. It's part of being in the community, I suppose. I never saw it coming, when my Sienne wandered into my life, and has since becoming my source of eternal glee.

My Star: Asaji Saki. )

So, in case I neglected to mention it, from June 18th to July 10th 2009, I was visiting Japan with a couple of friends. Naturally, this trip wasn't solely about Takarazuka-related things, but I won't pretend that it wasn't a big part of it :)

What We Saw:
- Tsukigumi's Elisabeth in Takarazuka (20th June)
- Soragumi's Raindrops fall on Roses/Amour, it's... in Tokyo (2nd July)
- Hanagumi's Me and My Girl in Osaka (8th July)
- Hoshigumi's Legend in Takarazuka (9th July)

It gave me such glee that our timing meant we got 4 out of 5 troupes :) Added bonuses included meeting Nagina Ruumi after Elisabeth, snagging nearly-last-day Cosmos tickets, being part of a raffle at MiiMai and seeing a Hoshigumi talk-show after Legend :) I think we got exceptionally lucky both with timing and with the shows we were able to see.

We also hit the main shops to sell Takarazuka merchandise (also, Taka-An is very addictive, with all it's second-hand stuff), and that would be why 25% of my luggage space was filled by this:
Geekgasm! )

I didn't realise until now just how Hoshigumi-centric it really is. Funny that my favourites have always been Hoshi girls :) (Yes, I know that the Tanz der Vampire programme and fan don't belong there, but I love that show too :P)
