This one is pretty high up on my Takarazuka-want List (I think it's at #4 right now), because I've always loved the story of Zorro. Family bonding time was watching Zorro on TV when I was a little girl - Duncan Regehr as Don Diego/Zorro. Mom and I would make special dinner and watch it, since it came on on my dad's golfing night. So I can't wait to see how the Takarazuka have interpreted it. From your review, it sounds like they got some of the important things right, though!
But wait...Yumiko playing sleazy evil?! This does not compute. But I'm looking forward to seeing her Mendoza. He's a fun villain. And Kimu as Zorro's mute assistant! I can only imagine how well she played the part, knowing how expressive she can be.
